Heaven is the best way to describe this truly magical place. Stepping onto this historic botanical garden takes you back to a time where life stood still. You are surrounded by indescribable beauty and mesmerized at every step you take.
Earlier this week Todd, Pania and I ventured to what I like to refer to as the secret Hawaiian garden, also known as the Haiku Mill. I haven’t been to this incredible place in several years and have always wanted to bring my family here. As we explored the grounds our tour guide shared stories about the history of the mill and I learned a few things about Maui I did not know. As we walked past a 100 year-old mango tree the striking walls of the mill were revealed. Covered in lush vines and antique remnants of a once working mill was striking to see up close.
This experience is not one to miss and I would highly recommend booking a tour. You can contact Haiku Mill directly or visit Groupon. If you happen to visit let me know in the comments below. I would love to see your photos too.
Lots of Aloha,
