It is officially strawberry season! One of my favorite parts about summer is heading up to Kula Country Farms to pick strawberries with Pania, which happen to be her absolute favorite fruit. She can eat an entire carton in one sitting. When I told her we were going to pick our own she could hardly wait.
It was a little overcast the morning we headed up to Kula and I was a little surprised to see that the farm was still closed when we arrived. They officially open at 10 am and I would recommend getting there early, as we had the fields to ourselves for the first hour. Our friend’s Jenny and Noah joined us and Pania was so happy to have a friend to pick strawberries with. She made sure to find only the best ones and was very meticulous in her search.
Afterwards we had the strawberries weighed and checked out the cute farm stand for more yummy snacks. There is a cute little picnic table and the sweetest play area for the kids. This is one of my all time favorite places to explore with Pania and it is a must see Maui spot for kids. If you happen to stop by let me know in the comments below. I would love to hear about your adventures too.
Lots of Aloha,
